We are having a candy buffet and our colors are pink, black, and white. What would be more appealing.. Pink, black, and white candies, or a huge array of all sorts of candies in different colors? I am having a hard time deciding, and a hard time finding candies in just those 3 colors.

I'm doing a candy buffet as well, and had the same thought - I decided on doing it in my colors. After looking at images, I found most of the ones that were all colors looked sort of busy. And, in my opinion, one of the added benefits of having a candy buffet is to have it as a decoration - any other decorations you are doing in your colors (I assume) so this should not be any different.

I'm sure you've already heard to www.candybycolor.com but that should help you get some ideas for your colored candies!

Good luck! : )

We are doing the candy bar also. Our wedding colors are red, silver, white, and black. I was planning on doing the same thing, just our wedding colors...

I think that all sorts of colored candy sort of takes away from the whole idea, and you should stick with the pinks and whites blacks, etc. It will makes it look that much better, and it ties everything together! Go all different shades of pink! You can find a candy store in your local mall that will have everything that you are looking for!

To be honest, I would go with the array of different colors. I think too many brides get carried away with the "colors" thing. Really, no one is going to notice that the candies are in your "chosen colors" except you. Don't stress over it. Just order a variety of candy and arrange them in nice jars. If you want, keep pink, black, white bags/boxes for them to fill to take home.

oh my god what a great idea! I think that sticking with your colors will look more classy. Think about taffies and chocolates adn waht not. You can order m&m's in your wedding colors. Go to different custom candy website, like http://www.sweetevents.com/ where they can customize the color of the wrappers. Good luck!

you could use black cats or chicko babies for the black. Pink could be strawberryy / raspberry liqcouorish (sp?) plus sherbert normally comes in pink. White you have heaps of mint options, milk bottles. oh and to answer your question i think go with the wedding colours

definately the canides in your colors. Jelly beans, m&ms, hard rock candy sticks (I think they are called swizzle sticks) taffy, bubble gum, make rock candy of your own with what flavors you want and put food coloring in it for the colors you need.
