Question:
Do you know of a website that sells wedding INVITATION magnets?

I like the idea of a wedding invitation magnet as opposed to a wedding save-the-date magnet? This means the magnet would give FULL details on the wedding (date, location, names, time, RSVP info and website)

I've searched and searched and all I'm finding are the save-the-date variety.

Anyone?

Vista Print is a great way to go when you want to make something that's a little less traditional than most. They're also pretty inexpensive. You can either alter the save the date magnets to read what you want them to, or you can totally design a unique magnet.

You can either make a large magnet which is 5.47" x 4.21" or a small magnet at 3.43" x 1.93". It depends on how much you want to put on each one.

~I haven't actually ordered anything from them, but almost all the reviews I've read have been great.

FYI I put any invitations I get on my fridge using my own magnets, and I think most people do the same so putting a magnet on the back of your invitation is really overkill. I got a STD on a magnet a few months ago and stuck it on the fridge, and now that I have the invite to that wedding, I chucked the STD card. What I would do is just print your invitations and then glue a magnet on the back. You can get the invitation kits and magnets at any craft store near you, or Target.

As for the rsvp's, it has to be in writing. If you don't ask guests to respond in writing, they will blow off your wedding. Which means you will waste $$$$ in catering for those who don't show up. Enclosed with the invitation should be an rsvp card and stamped envelope so guests can send their response and meal choice back to you and know it's a formal occasion.

You write: I've searched and searched and all I'm finding are the save-the-date variety.

So why don't you contact those companies directly, asking them if all the info can be included???

I'm sure you will find one of those companies happy to oblige . . . for the right price.

Just because it is not shown on the website . . . well, that doesn't mean they are not capable of accommodating you.

Contact those save-the-date magnet companies directly . . . and ask.

See a custom magnet site here:

Personally I don't like the idea of either, although it might seem fun it is a bit tacky, but it's not my wedding.

Have you considered making them? You could find and or buy a template on line (maybe Martha Stewart.com or Micheals...), buy the magnets and sticker paper at a craft store; format your sticker/wedding information and print and apply. Keep in mind when you mail these you will have to apply more postage.

I agree with Cammie. Use Vista Print. They have lots of designs to choose from and are CHEAP!!!!

You can send a little note with your invitations in the envelope you will be sending them in for your guests to R.S.V.P. with. : )

Congrats!!!!
