sometimes it as if God is not interested in our challanges. you pray for a long time about something and you see no improvement. Does that mean His answer is no so you have to forget about it?

I don't pray, but, I know that it doesn't matter one way or another, you shouldn't expect an absentee landlord to take care of your problems for you. Life is a struggle, put faith in yourself and you can accomplish far more than you can clinging to the false hope that "God" is going to wipe away your tears.

Be patient and faithful. He will answer you when he thinks you are ready. If you don't get the answer you are wanting either you aren't ready for it or he thinks it isn't something you really need at tis point, and maybe not ever. Remember just like your mother and father here on Earth always told you, they know what is best for you and if that means telling you no there is good reason for it. Maybe your answer is no for the sake of your well being and you just aren't hearing that because it isn't the answer you want to hear (lots of children have selective hearing, and maybe that is the case with your prayer) Just remember he will give you the answer he thinks is best for you, and you kust need to listen for it. If it still isn't the answer you want remember this..."Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers." Think about what would happen if he gave everyone what they wanted...we would be a bunch of spoiled brats that would never learn a thing he is trying to teach us.

First of all, are you His child? If God is not answering, maybe you need to work on the relationship with Him first.

Second, are you accepting all answers, or are you looking for a specific one? Sometimes we already know the answer, so He doesn't bother. He gave us the basic decision-making guide, so maybe your answer is already in there?

Third, God takes His time. Sometimes He wants us to find out for ourselves, or make our own choices. God is not a fortune teller - He knows, but usually he doesn't tell. More often he reveals His plan slowly over time, and you are only a small part of the plan, so it is on a need to know basis. :)

Rephrase your question, and ask God to reveal His plan and the next step for you to take. Make sure you are looking for His answer to be righteous, for God will never ever lead you to do something that is wrong. It might be hard though, so be ready for that. Ask for wisdom, ask for patience, ask for clarity. Ask for strength to accept a "no" or a "wait." He is there, and He hears you. Keep listening.

Well I prayed about something for close to 3 years and God never seemed to hear me. Sometimes it's for the best but normally when you don't hear God it's only because you're not really listening. Or you are but you don't get the response you won't so you seem to not hear what he has to tell you. Hope you hear from him soon and that all gos well!! :)

Sometimes the best option is to clean out your ears. You may have a blockage to hear what he is saying, whether or not it's because he is telling you something you don't want to hear or because you're really not listening. We typically see things, not as they are, but as we are. By how we position ourselves , we will see the evidence of God everywhere or nowhere. Too often our minds are locked on one track. We are look for red but overlooking blue, we are thinking tomorrow but God is saying now, we are looking everywhere when the answer is right under our nose. So position yourself correctly so you are ready to receive all that God has for you.

God is always interested in our challenges. You need to learn to talk to God and to be able to listen to what he is trying to tell you. He has a plan for us and no matter what we want he is going to do what he thinks is right and our job is to learn from the challenges and try to understand why things turned out the way they did. Maybe you should consider reading a book by Joyce Meyer -I think it is called learning to pray. Keep praying-don't give up. He is listening-he is always with you.

Somthing I've come to learn is that when God seems silent in my life (and yes, I know it feels frustrating and sometimes a bit hopeless, but it's not!) is that He is testing out my faith ...He's trying to see whether or not I'll be faithful to Him in the quiet times, in the times where He's not making Himself known in big ways. It's easy to put your faith in Him and follow him and pray to Him when it feels like He's so close you could touch him and when He's doing really cool things in your life. It's harder though when it feels like He's farther away. But the cool thing is He's not. He's still just as close as he always was. Sometimes he just removes the sense of His presence. Not to harm us or to make us mad or frustrated, but to teach us. But that one other girl was right too, we do need to make sure we are really preparing our hearts to hear from Him. We can't really do that when we're neck deep in sin. Just remember he's told us in John 11 that nothing can take His children out of His hand. If you have a relationship with Him, He'll never leave you. Just have faith in Him and still just talk to Him. Even when He seems quiet--just start talking to Him and I promise he will start to speak to your heart. And at least comfort you...it may not be the answer you're looking for but like they've all said...He'll answer you in His on way in His own timing.

Take care

I recently was feeling the same way, but i realize he was just testing my faith, to see if i trust him enough to be patient with his will.... its true what they say " he's may not be there when u call, but he's ALWAYS on time". Patience is a virtue

p.s

u prayed already for whatever it is, now is the time to thank him, and believe in things hope for...claim your improvement, claim your victory. Don't let the "negative energy" take your joy away.

Have you ever heard of unanwered prayers. Maybe you should be asking for God's will to be done. Not your want.

We are children we do not need everything that we ask for and God knows that. Just keep praying that God will guide you in God's will and ways for things to work out. It is like asking for someone to be healed of an illness. It may not be in God's plan. Ask that he make the patient comfortable and that God's will be done in that persons life.

Remember not to fill up my head space by running the question over and over again. The answer needs a quiet place to land. Sometimes there's just not enough space in between our own thoughts which means we're spending too much energy begging and not listening.

First comments right here's to be sure a thanks to apply punctuation. That block of textual content is fantastically a lot unreasonable. classes and commas are not to any extent further elective in English. I only type of understand what you're asserting, and that makes it complicated to helpfully answer. 2d, human beings praying antagonistic to you does surely no longer something. if you're having religious topics, do not blame it on human beings putting some magical whammy on you. Thirdly, i in my opinion don't have self belief my gods ought to attempt someone in this way of fashion. yet it really is own, and easily finally reflects my relationship with my gods. i do not see checks as being skill to attempt my faith, to work out if i am going to end worshiping them. it really is a very Judeo-Christian conception. Their god demands conception and obedience. Polytheistic gods in many circumstances do not paintings like that. in case you do not favor every body to study about your faith, you want to keep it very deepest. in case you stay in some different person's homestead or share a dorm room or share an position of abode, etc. with human beings whom you do not favor to study about Wicca, then you rather shouldn't own Wiccan supplies. It became very impolite for them to invade your stuff, yet in case you rather, rather do not favor them to allure to close, the stuff shouldn't were round in the first position.

God answers your prayers in different ways. Sometimes it's not the obvious answer or the answer you are looking for.

He will make sure that the answer is what's best for you in the long term. He will never grant you something that later on will hurt you. Have faith that he hears your prayers and will always answer you.

it could be many things. one thing can be that you're praying for something that isn't meant for you. or it isn't meant for you right now. Also, God may be teaching you patience. One thing I've learned is that instead of asking God the same thing over and over, I pray for it once then I thank Him that I will receive it, if I don't it's not for me now or at all. God bless

no dont just forget about it... have faith. really it doesn't matter how long you pray, but how much faith and belief you put in your prier. And if you only pray when there is something you need, or something is going wrong in your life. how do you think good feels about that? just a rhetorical question.....but don't lose faith....his listening....don't worry sooner or later you will find your way!

No you shouldn't forget about it..He answers in His own time..Which is very hard to deal with sometimes..

Sometimes it feels like our prayers go as high as the ceiling and never any further..But He hears them..

He is concerned about everything we go through. It is just that his ways are not our ways nor his thoughts our thoughts. Be patient. His word shall not return void and it shall accomplish that which he pleases. He said in his word that he would never leave nor forsake you. Be quieted in your spirit. Be at peace and listen for the still small voice.

Try and figure it out yourself - it'll be more rewarding anyway. You can't rely on Santa Clause or the Easter Bunny to get you through day to day, why sit around and think some other imaginary being is going to be able to help you any more than them...because it won't get your anywhere.

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.
