I have 2 children and was married and divorced once before. When my fiancee and I get married, would it be wrong of me to wear a white dress or does it not matter?

it is your wedding honey, wear whatever you want. there are so many new dress designs that incorporate splashes of color into traditional white wedding gowns, so you could always explore that option. but as for traditions...throw them out the window and have YOUR dream wedding. good luck to you!

It your wedding...do what you want! I am looking forward to wearing a white gown when my husband and I have a church wedding(we did JOP in the courthouse over a year ago)...and he have a son that is almost 1! Whatever you chose to wear I am sure that you will be a beautiful bride! I hope you have a wonderful day!

I don't see anything wrong with it. I was married once before and just recently got married again (in June) and I wore white. I don't really think anyone pays to much attention now adays. If you are feeling uncomfortable with it, there are many shades of off white that look REALLY close to white. And that's only cheating a bit =)

Congrats and good luck!

It is up to you, it is your wedding, the symbolic meaning of white has changed in society. In my opinion, white is meant to stand for purity and virginity, so I wouldn't wear white. Whatever you decide, have a beautiful wedding.

I think because it is your 2nd wedding you should wear an off-white or cream dress. White wedding dresses are for brides that are virgins! If you aren't a virgin then you shouldn't wear one!!

I THINK ITS WRONG. THE COLOR WHITE IS OF COURSE THE TRADIONAL WEDDING DRESS COLOR, BUT WHITE SYMBOLIZES THE WORD "PURE" WHICH SUPPOSE TO MEAN IN MARRIAGE CASE THAT YOU ARE STILL A VIRGIN UP UNTIL MARRIAGE. jUST LIKE A BABY WEARS WHITE DURING HIS/HER CHRISTIANING.

It doesn't matter. It is your day, wear whatever makes you feel beautiful.
