Your question bothers me a little, as a Wiccan. Wicca is not goth, and not about being gothic or dark.

Wicca is a religion... Ask yourself:

Are you Wiccan?

Is your fiance Wiccan?

Are you being married by Wiccan clergy?

If not, then no, your wedding is not Wiccan, period. And if it's not Wiccan, you probably should stop calling it Wiccan. You can have all the pentagrams and black that you want but that doesn't make it Wiccan. Wiccans aren't the only ones to use pentagrams in their religion, and certainly are not goth nor is it traditional to wear black at our weddings, so to call it a "Wiccan wedding" just for that is soooooo beyond disrespectful to Wiccans and soooooooo untrue.

If you want to wear a black dress... shop for one. Any dress can be your wedding dress... you don't have to use an actual bridal gown.

Consider your budget... for a real bridal gown made in black, it will have to be custom made and cost a bundle probably.

A gothic wedding gown costume would probably be better, a quality one would still probably cost several hundred dollars.

Alternately, go buy an old black prom dress... or any black dress you like, and use it. Or buy one you like and have it altered a bit. Or take the time to learn to sew so you can make your own and save a bundle.

So much depends on budget and depends on how formal or casual your wedding is going to be.

hopefully something in there can help you!

anyway, its your wedding so wear what you feel is right - lots of people dont wear traditional white (ivory, mostly),and coloured wedding dresses are becoming more popular (although black is a bit out there, its a funeral colour in the western world)

companies that deal with alternative wedding dresses tend to be smaller and more likely to customise a design to what you want - theyll even take bits from dresses that you like and put them all into one dress, and whatever color you want!

After watching several seasons of Say Yes to the Dress, I am sure you can find the dress of your dreams in black. I have seen red, white with black accents or floral wedding dresses. You may have to pay a little more for black to have a "traditional" style made in black or you could find a seamstress who could copy one that you like.

I just read that Urban Outfitters is starting to carry a line of wedding dresses. Don't know if any are black, but you can google them and find out.

Cool Halloween thought, i might of had an impressive time with it. you will desire to have relaxing and not cut back your self to in simple terms black. I observed am outstanding easy purple and black gown at a gothic wedding ceremony...everybody wore black.bear in strategies you are the bride and you may desire to stand out...you won't be able to stand out if everybody is already in black. I recommend gazing formal robes of all colors...perhaps you may desire to locate something that could bleed into black and an incredible long black practice. purple bleeds attractive into black and you will possibly stand out. I did see a halloween wedding ceremony positioned on everybody got here dressed for Halloween in diverse costumes, the bride and groom have been vampires blood and all.

if you want a black dress, it'll be tons cheaper than a white wedding gown. anything wedding related is marked way up, but if you go into any dept store you can choose a black formal gown for under $300 probably.

If you're having someone make it for you, it can be any color you want. It's not like colored fabric will refuse to be sewn into the shape of a wedding dress. Talk to a seamstress.

There are some beautiful ones here: http://www.weddingdressfantasy.com/Gothic_Wedding_Dress_s/122.htm

The dresses can be made in a variety of colours, so if you like any deigns, they can be made in black.

The designer is a mom in New Jersey, does amazing work. If you're interested, you can check out her videos on Youtube.

Most wedding dresses are made white but many of them can be dyed.

have it made - make sure the dressmaker is a professional!!

or you could try a bridal store and simply ask if they can dye it for you or, if they have any contacts who would be able to help.

they some times have dresses that are in colours other than white, or white dresses with black/red detailing.

good luck!

Try looking at prom dresses. A lot of them are in black. You can wear any dress you want to, it doesn't have to be specifically designed for a wedding.

You write: How would i get one?

Go shopping and buy one, perhaps? (Sorry, I couldn't help it. LOL.)

You can check out plenty of brides wearing black gowns in the archives of Offbeat Bride. It is no longer unusual.

And read dress advice here:

There are black wedding dresses out there, and lots of black/white dresses, if you look hard enough. Here are a few I know of...

You could also check out some higher end formal dresses. Anything with a little train can pass as a wedding dress, and you'll find many more options in color (each of these is available in black)...
