9. Did anything bad/scandalous happen? (by scandalous I mean things like a guest wearing white, proposing, announcing pregnancy, etc.)

No, everyone just had an amazing time!

10. Where did you honeymoon? How long was it?

A week in Paris, France.

11. What was your favorite part of the wedding?

The ceremony! It was so exciting and romantic!

12. Your least favorite?

Taking pictures! We didn't spend that long (not longer than normal) but it took so much time and effort to "wrangle" all the grandparents for the group shots, and then they got to go right back to the cocktail reception right away and enjoy it. It was very stressful.

After the third location of shooting just my husband and I, I had had enough and just wanted to go inside and enjoy our party. It was kind of frustrating, but in the end the pictures turned out great!

13. How many guests were there?

100

14. Was it adult only or did you allow children?

Adults only, but we only knew one couple with kids, and they wouldn't have wanted to bring them anyway.

15. Did you guys have bachelor/bachelorette parties?

He had a pretty big traditional weekend away, I went away the weekend before for one night, but it was just with my sisters and we didn't do anything too exciting. (The bridesmaid who planned it kind of fell through on planning it big time, and my sister's didn't have any notice to plan anything better).

16. Is there anything you would have done differently?

I would have looked in the mirror before having my bridal portraits done (the ones right before the ceremony) because my necklace was crooked and it bugs me now to look at some of them where it is so obvious!

I also would have bought a better bra. I wore this fancy, frilly corset (that was very expensive) under my dress, but it wasn't made very well I guess and it didn't support me much. I don't have a huge chest, but my boobs look non-existent in some pictures, and it looks like my custom-made dress doesn't fit me very well in others because my corset started slipping down as soon as I headed down the aisle!

1. When was your wedding? April 2007

2. Did you cry during the ceremony? Only during the special intentions when we prayed for the deceased...and mentioned my dad.

3. Did your mother cry? Probably. I don't know

4. What was your wedding song? I walked down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary and our first dance was Beautiful sung by James Brady

5. What did you serve for food? stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes as appetizers, salad, cabaret chicken and beef tenderloin, asparagus, crown potatoes, and wedding cake

6. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen were there? 3 of each, 2 flower girls, 1 ring bearer, plus 3 duaghers of the groom

7. What were your wedding colors? sky blue and tan

8. How did you have your hair? half up, half down. My husband wanted hair down, boobs up.

9. Did anything bad/scandalous happen? (by scandalous I mean things like a guest wearing white, proposing, announcing pregnancy, etc.) The only "bad" thing that happened was that one of my bonus daughters started having a meltdown in the limo from the church to the reception hall. I stared out the window and my husband told her to knock it off. She did.

10. Where did you honeymoon? How long was it? We went to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico and were there for 5 days.

11. What was your favorite part of the wedding? Saying our vows

12. Your least favorite? There was no least favorite

13. How many guests were there? We had 100 guests

14. Was it adult only or did you allow children? We allowed the flower girls, ring bearer and my other nephew. My youngest bonus daughter was 16.

15. Did you guys have bachelor/bachelorette parties? No bachelorette party. My husband's bachelor party was a heavy night of drinking at the karaoke bar we always go to while they sang racy songs and he had a t-shirt that women had to pick "racy" tasks to do and sign his shirt.

16. Is there anything you would have done differently? We gave each girl a diamond necklace during the unity candle lighting and put the necklace on her. Our hands were shaking so much that my husband dropped the necklace down the 16 year old's dress and we struggled to get the necklaces on the girls. In retrospect, we should have bought those magnetic clasps. It was a very moving part of the ceremony and many of our guests were crying because we did the unity candle as a family, so the whole dropping the necklace down the front of her dress added some levity.

May of 2008, no crying during the ceremony until we reached the receiving line. No my mother was happy and did not cry. We had several favorite songs. We had buffet style foods,I had four bride maids and three flower girls and he had the same for guys. Our colors were lavender. My hair was curled and put up into my vail.No nothing bad happened. Honeymoon was in Hawaii for two weeks. My favorite part of the wedding was marring my best friend. Least favorite was the cost. We had 150 guest, and yes we allowed children. My now husband had a bachelor party, I did not want to have anything(Not my style). No I would not have done anything different it was a beautiful wedding. We also had beautiful music and a lady from the church played the Chelo and another lady played the piano and sang.

1. When was your wedding?

December 18th 2009

2. Did you cry during the ceremony?

I choked up while reading my vows. I could barely make it through them ha ha

3. Did your mother cry?

I honestly don't know, I was so focused on my husband I didn't pay any attention to anyone in the audience. She cried a couple times during the planning though.

4. What was your wedding song?

I Will Be There by Steven Curtis Chapman

5. What did you serve for food?

We had an appetizer and dessert reception. there was fruit, cheese, and veggie trays, a variety of dips, and for dessert we had our wedding cake, a chocolate fountain with marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and fruit. we got so many compliments on the food. and nothing ran out. it was the one thing that went completely smoothly.

6. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen were there?

Three bridesmaids three groomsmen plus a flower girl and a ring bearer.

7. What were your wedding colors?

Ice blue, silver, and cream.

8. How did you have your hair?

I have long hair and I feel the most confident when its down. so I wore it in big curls (think miley cyrus) with a crystal headband.

9. Did anything bad/scandalous happen? (by scandalous I mean things like a guest wearing white, proposing, announcing pregnancy, etc.)

I originally had 4 bridesmaids one of whom being my future sister-in-law. she was a nightmare to deal with. she had a catty comment about eveything I did. she tried to keep certian people off the guest list because she didnt like them, she refused to wear the dress I picked out for eveyone, she said it made she look fat, and about a month before the wedding I found out she was running her mouth about my relationship with my husband, she said she would give us 6 months before we seperated. after hearing that I had enough so I kicked her out of the wedding party. that caused some definite tension to say the least.

10. Where did you honeymoon? How long was it?

We honeymooned in New York City for a week. It was incredible! neither of us had been to a big city before so it was amazing seeing so many new things and our hotel room was so luxurious. i would give anything to go back!

11. What was your favorite part of the wedding?

The ceremony. It went perfectly! and you could just feel the love in the room. It was the happiest day of my life.

12. Your least favorite?

the reception. I'm not a big party person to begin with so it was bound to be awkward for me even if eveything was exactly the way I wanted. (which it wasnt)

13. How many guests were there?

about 105

14. Was it adult only or did you allow children?

children were allowed mainly because both our families have a lot of small children and it would have been inconvienent for everyone to bann kids.

15. Did you guys have bachelor/bachelorette parties?

My husband went out with his Dad and some friends after our rehearsal dinner, they went to the Winking Lizard for drinks. very tame. I didnt have one at all, like i said, not a party person. I just hung out at home with my bridesmaids and made cupcakes.

16. Is there anything you would have done differently?

The reception! I wish I had put more thought into decorations and the atmosphere. It wasnt anything like I was picturing. which was disappointing.
