Not sure how to organize time table for reception?

Question

My wedding is at 12 noon. Ceremony should take about 20-30 minutes..short and sweet! Then pictures and our reception is 22 miles away. What time to start reception..having 1 hr open bar. First dance...no fathers dance he is deceased. garter toss, cake cutting it's all driving me crazy. My time frame for reception is 5 hrs from when guest start to arrive. Oh. I want a buffet dinner. Any ideas on how to put this in order. Doing everything myself.

talk to the people doing the music and the who is doing your food. they have done this tons and know what works.



and just a side note, 22 miles to the reception is a bit far and inconvienent for guests to drive. good thing there is an open bar to make it worth the drive.
