There is this book called "Bridal Bargains: Secrets to Throwing a Fantastic Wedding on a Realistic Budget"

Why not have both instead, cheap, small, nice cute one and not huge. Talk about it, you will come to some kind of solution. It takes two now to decide on what is best , especially when you are ready to tie the knot.

nothings cheap as long as u shared it with ur love one...u can be hands on to everything instead of paying someone, use seasonal flowers but if its still expensive go for balloons..
1.ask a family friend or relative to take video
2.have a simple fondant cake and ask ur florist to add fresh flowers
3.if its a garden wedding make sure its not rainy season that time..
4.RSVP- call the invited people and confirm if they can come so that there wont be excess food..
but one last thing...also think about ur future...

Fly to Vagas with a few select friends and family and get married. Then have a huge reception in your home town. I think that would be an excellent compromise. Good luck with the planning.

So many couples get caught up in the "wedding day" itself and don't concentrate on what lies in their future afterwards. If you want your future to be a lifetime of debt, I suggest you make your wedding day all about the committment and love you both share and less about a grandiose ceremony. Congratulations and best of luck......

Boys dream of being Football/Baseball/Basketball star while growing up.
Girls dream of their perfect wedding day.
tell him that it is "YOUR" day not his.
but remember that a Wedding is just a DAY and a MARRIAGE is a lifetime.
so pick and choose your battle wisely..
good luck
