Which wedding favor should I go with?

Ok, so!

Options for favors! Pick one!

1) "Bride and Groom" candy boxes. Inside I'd put hershey kisses, with little stickers on the butt of them, with our names & date.

--$70 for 150 "brides", 150 "grooms"-- add cost for kisses & stickers.

2) Coasters that can hold a photo. Come in a set of 2. On our day there won't be a photo in it but rather our names & date, etc... Guests can change it out later if desire to.

3) Personalized deck of cards. We're a younger couple and many of our friends would use them. They'd have a design, names, & date.

Don't base it off the price... I just listed it for extra info. What would you WANT as a favor, that you wouldn't throw away/put in a box?

Well I think the first idea was really cute but they would most likely get thrown away after a while. The coasters, they are just not something I would want. I like to be able to use the favor at the reception. So I think the best thing to go with would be the cards. Everyone would love them because they could be used right away and at your reception alot of the people that don't dance could be playing cards instead and still have fun!!!

I think all are nice and simple! The candy boxes are my least favorite as they are kind of overdone. The coasters would be nice BUT you have to remember that most people buy nice picture frame coasters in sets of 4 AND if they are glass they aren't really practical (when water drips off the cup, it isn't absorbed and just goes on the table anyway). I would go with the deck of cards! Everyone will eventually use them and who doesn't always need a new deck?

I like the coasters because it's something they can keep and use, and it sounds really cute. I love the deck of cards idea too, but I feel like it should be used if you have a themed wedding that wrapped the deck of cards into the wedding. I'm not a fan of edible favors because your guests can't really keep it.

well, the bride and groom boxes are super cute. But I would probably throw them away or box them. I would definitely keep the coaster and cards, but the coasters wouldn't reflect you two. Unless they were engraved. I think the cards would be cute. They're practical and would remind everyone of your wedding and love each time they're used.

Personally i'd go for candy EVERYtime!! We recently got married and had little clear "lanterns" which we filled with retro sweets, and tied them with a little "name and date" label and ribbon to suit our colours. They went down a treat and they looked fab on the tables!! There were none left over at the end of the night either. Unfortunately i think 9 times out of ten some "trinket" favours are just taken home and put in the "toot" drawer!!

i like the cards....everyone does the candy thing and not many people use coasters these days. Go with the cards. They are not only unique but, they will be around for a while

I love the deck of cards, we originally wanted that but too expensive.



The coasters are also a great idea both are very useful to the guests afterwards.

I love love love the cards and I think I'm gonna steal that idea. lol. we're having a red and black themed wedding so it'll suit it well.

otherwise I also love the coasters because the guests can personalise it with their own photos afterwards.

they're all good ideas, and would be used. But i think if I was a guest I'd like the cards best.

Personally, I would like the deck of cards. I can always use cards, no matter how they are personalized. The others are things that will end up not being used as much.

You can't go wrong with something edible. I have received 3 different sets of coasters at weddings and haven't used any of them! The playing cards are cute but do they go with your theme or colors?

I prefer the glass coasters: I found some on ebay too, don't know if they work out cheaper. ($35.00 for 25 sets of 2 coasters)
