Have you ever met a male wedding planner that was not gay?

No offense to my gay/lesbian readers. The question was more of like, most of the times you see wedding planners as women or as gay, but not a straight male. If so how are they received as opposed to the other two?

No, I haven't. But I've met plenty of men in the wedding industry who weren't planners who were straight... and a lot of vendor services extend into planning (ie, catering).
I think the only problem a straight male wedding planner may run into is a question of taste, and whether his potential clients feel confident in trusting his. Without that "feminine" side, a lot of brides may feel like the male wedding planner doesn't really understand what they want... and let's face it, the bride is more likely to call the shots than the groom. But some straight men have excellent taste and are versed in etiquette. It's not common, but they do exist.

My wedding planner was a straight married guy with 3 or 4 kids. He owns a catering business but branched into wedding planning when he kept meeting the same florists, bands, etc. at his events. He did a great job!
Note at my first wedding, my wedding planner was a woman, and she had to come into the handicapped bathroom stall with me to hold my dress. With a male wedding planner second go round, I made sure I could manage my dress on my own!

I have never met a wedding planner before. =) But I am sure that would be a pleasantly odd thing to meet a straight male wedding planner. But all the gay men I know have fabulous style, they would be my #1 choice for a wedding planner.

because of the fact the responsibilities observed as for by wedding ceremony planners, florists, and so on tend to not be issues hetero adult males have an interest in. they're of extra interest to women human beings and gay adult males (yet not all of the two of those communities). gay marriage has not something to do with it...and hetero marriage would not count selection the reality that somebody has to devise the social gathering, make the cake, layout the flowers, the gown, choose for the region, and so on. maximum immediately adult adult males purely have no interest in those issues.
