What does it mean if a man wears his ring on his left hand, middle finger?

Also, what if its not a band, but a big ring with a stone on it...is that still a marriage ring or are wedding bands all simple looking like I see on most men. This is important!

It's probably his wedding ring.

Can I ask why?? Have you met a guy telling you he's not married but you think he might be? If so, then do some more investigating!

I Don't think its a wedding ring for two reasons 1: its on the wrong finger 2: most rings for marriage for men aren't like that but if your thinking of dating this guy i suggest you find out as much as possible before you go after him

Have you thought that it might not be a wedding ring at ALL?



men can wear whatever rings they want! College rings, bowl rings, family rings, decorative rings... it could just be a ring.



My husband is clueless and never remembers which hand his wedding ring goes on - but he doens't forget which FINGER. not that it matters, he lost his and it doens't make us any less married. But still... if a man is trying to HIDE that he is married, he takes his ring off. If he is wearing a ring on his middle finger... he's JUST wearing a ring that he likes.

I met a guy in vacation and he asked for my number wanted to meet at a club ect. I noticed he wore a big ring on his middle finger. I had a weird feeling and did look him up on fb where he is there with his wife and kids :( I'm glad I listened to my my intuition and didn't call or meet him anywhere. I'm not into married men. So my advice is to listen to your intuition. If it doesn't feel right then it's probably not..

Well my husband has a special ring that was his grandfathers its a Bahai Ringstone symbol on it.



I agreed to let him wear it.



If it seems he has a wedding ring of sorts, look at the ring finger

if it looks like a ring was sitting there than it was.



also if you don't have his home number or a land line number, and have never been to his house.

my bf says to look for a tan mark on his ring finger where his wedding band would go ... (that would mean that he switched the ring to the other hand). if not it may be his knuckle size... if hes 25ish or older then his knuckle size changes and its the only finger it fits on. which means he's older than he says he is....USUALLY, disclaimer.
