Has anyone ever had a lingerie shower before?

I do not want a bachelorette party because I know my fiance will get upset. I want to have a lingerie shower instead of a bridal shower. I thought this would be fun to have at a home, with a signature drink and a real cute fun girly atmospehere. What all did you do at your shower?

yes, it was a blast. We played alot of games...

One was that my sister wrote down every thing I said while I was opening my gifts (i didn't know she was doing it). And at the end of the shower she read it out loud and said...this is what Kelli will say on her wedding night...it was hilarious



Another was that everyone took a clothespin when they walked through the front door....nobody was aloud to say wedding, or they would get their clothespin taken away by whoever caught them first. Whoever had the most clothespins at the end of the party, won. it is tough not to say wedding!!



Another was that my sister made up a survey asking questions about me....everyone had to take the survey, and the person with the most right answers, won a prize. Questions on the survey were to see how well the people knew me.



Kudos for having enough respect for your fiance to not go against his wishes. Lingere showers are a blast, and you get tons of cute outfits that your future husband will love....I highly reccoment the lingere shower!!!!

We had that for my friend when she got married. We did it as a pajama party, so everyone would be comfy. Unfortunately, the sister of the groom decided to invite the moms, aunts, and grandmothers as well. It was pretty awkward opening up lingerie from husband-to-be's mother with a card that says "go get'em tiger" GROSS!!!!



But other than that, it was tons of fun. Just make sure you register or let people know the types of stuff you want.

My moh and bridesmaids are throwing me a bridal party themed lingerie which will be at my home with drinks and fingerfoods, and also a week befor my wedding they are also doing a bachelorette party at my home with my closest friends and drinks no strippers. Do whatever you want people have lingerie partys all the time.

sure!! i didn't have a bachelorette party either. we had all my bridesmaids and a few friends over, opened naughty gifts had some drinks, and those married shared their thoughts on marriage. we had sooo much fun!

Yes i've been to a couple. The host set's all her clothing and ,the one i had, she had gel's, dildo's,sex book's, etc. she show's you all her item's, passes are certain thing's for you to look at. play a game or two. have a snack, then you check out what you want to buy. it's alot of fun.

why don't you have a wedding shower and then have the lingirie party for just your close girlfriends? i know i would feel very embarrassed if my grandmother and some other relatives tried to buy me lingirie!
