I personally always thought IF I ever get married(have not as of yet,and it is not a high priority for me)that I would really prefer to get married on a sandy beach at sunset,with our toes in the sand and comfy clothes with style.
As for the reception a bar-b-q and a few kegs on said beach to celebrate with our closest friends and family.
To me that would be perfect....but I realize that is just me...but marriage is about what you feel not what you spend.

Depends on what the girl and you want and decide. The important things is that it gets decided together. Some people have only a ceremony with them and the minister and then have a bigger reception. My husband and I only had immediate family at our wedding and reception and it felt more intimate and like everyone was taking part in our wedding. Make sure you discuss every option you have. I prefer a small wedding with just my family.

I think a wedding (and its planning) should be an intimate experience between me and my future husband. I would need to find the right guy before I answered this, because I want that close experience with him. . . it is his day too!

It depends on how close your family is to you. I have a family that does not work well with those functions such as a wedding. I want to be married by Elvis!

i think big wedding is better.after all marriage happens only once in life(in india).so it"ll be better to make it grand.and presence of your parents and all relatives make it more special.
