We got married at a chapel in Vegas, and for EVERYTHING we paid less than $1500 dollars. I totally recommend it.

For everything we only spend $3150.00!! But it took a lot of creative thinking. Congrats on becoming engaged and good luck with the planning. =)

25k for hosting 200 people to a very traditional wedding, nothing fancy.

My wedding band was about 400, his was 300. Dinner was buffet, held at a hotel ballroom, and we had a full open bar.

No cake. Had traditional ethnic breads, lots of desserts and dainties. Gave our traditional fruitcake.

The BM dresses were about 150, tux rentals just over 100.

Girls did own makeup, salon visit for four attendants, me and mom was probably 30 each (yes, small city!)

Photography under 1k; friend and family member did videos.

Had dj, about 400.

My necklace was austrian crystal, just under 100; earrings about 20. Tiara and veil 100. Gown just under 1k, including alterations.

Favors - embossed napkins and matches, mints in tulle, little dough doves.

No chair covers.

Centerpieces - three floral centerpieces we used at the church then went on the head table for the reception. Other tables had candles, and silk flower centerpieces in our colors.

No limo. We went with a beautiful white van we rented so we all could travel together. (50 plus gas)

No honeymoon - we chose to put our money into the wedding celebration! Living together as husband and wife finally was honeymoon enough!

Host - one of my sisters was Mistress of

Ceremonies for the reception program.

We spent well over $2,000 on our wedding. We got our cake from safeway, our relatives took the pictures, we used our truck instead of renting a limo, my husband wore slacks and shirt that was got at wal-mart, we used centerpieces donated by the church. My mom did my hair my fake nails cost $25.00. We had our reception at the church. The minister did our wedding for free, we had the church supply the wedding music. Our flowers we got at our friend's shop for $50.00. We had a potluck wedding where everyone brought food. I went to David's Bridal and got my wedding dress for$125.00. We had the minister announce us as husband and wife. Secondhand stuff can be good to get and a cheap way to stay in your budget. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. My veil was made by my friend who's a florist

Er...I know my list doesn't help you, but it was still fun to answer. We had a small wedding in Vegas with only our parents in attendance. In total our entire wedding cost $1200 (or so). That included the plane tickets for 2 to Vegas, hotel for 2 nights and food for the stay.

2. Reception site - $17,000 (includes bar and food)

3. Cake - $800

4. Bridesmaid dresses/Groomsmen suits - not our responsibility, they are paying for their own

5. Make up + Hair - friend is doing this for free

6. Photography/Videographer - $3000 photographer, $1200 videographer

11. Chair covers - n/a

12. Centerpieces - $450

15. Vacation/Honeymoon - $6000

16. Host/Speaker who announces both families - $725 on the DJ/MC

we are also spending $1000 on flowers, $250 on ceremony musicians, and donating $500 to the church...you also have to consider tips/gratuities for people like the DJ, alter boys, etc. there are little things like pew bows, aisle runners, guest book, flower girl basket, ring bearer pillow, the rehearsal dinner, etc that need to be accounted for as well.

it adds up FAST!!!!!

good luck and congratulations!!
